Nick Hirons


Nick is a retail specialist whose expertise comes from hands on experience in all facets of retail; from launching and operating, a highly successful multi site retail concept in 1996 to successfully negotiating the exclusive licence for G-star stores in Australia and New Zealand. 2003 saw the opening of the first store in Australia and only the second store globally, and would become the largest G-Star retail partner globally.

Other retail credits include launching retail pop up concepts Dust and Self Made where he experimented in true customer centricity and sensory retail, and has recently developed and launched a premium casual restaurant concept; Hungry Bear Pizza Bar.

Starting on the floor as a one-man operator, learning each discipline of retail over his 20+ year career, Nick has a proven ability to translate strategy into reality. His strong commercial orientation is complemented by an innate ability to identify opportunities, strategically and tactically position the business, the business operating model and its offering, to better satisfy the consumer.

Nick is known for his ability to think outside the box and the value this brings each and every business he aligns with. He is particularly passionate about creating emotional engagement with customers and is an advocate for the power of values and ethics within business.
